Eva Mendes was born in America. She is an American model, actress, and singer. A talent agent recognized her talents and convinced her to go after a career as an actor or model. The decision she made to leave of school was the consequence of a lot of reflection. She first made an appearance in the film Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and was disappointed with her own performance. She was determined to perfect her acting abilities and appeared in numerous low-budget movies in order to demonstrate her talents. It wasn't an straightforward path for the actor but her sheer willpower and determination did not go unrewarded. Her name was praised and she received high praise for her performance in the film Training Day after which her acting career began to take off.
